Thank you for your inquiry seeking assistance in rehoming your Beagle or Border Collie. Although there are many dogs in dire need of help, our efforts are limited to those dogs which we rescue from "kill" shelters. So far, every dog we have rescued was only one day away from euthanization. For every dog we rescue, there are countless others left behind to die.

Therefore, we do not have the resources, i.e., money and/or space, to take in dogs already in a safe home, which for whatever reason, their owner can no longer keep. Regardless of the reason, we believe it is that owner's primary responsibility to rehome their dog. However, we are willing to help. You must do the following:

1) Read the following articles and implement the suggestions:

How to find homes for pets

HOW TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR YOUR CHOW CHOW

2) Provide us with a narrative description of your dog, a photo, or a digital image, along with whatever contact information you want published; and, we will post your dog just like our rescued dogs on our web site and on Petfinder.org.

Digital images and the narrative may be emailed to caleb@cc-rescue.org

Your dog must be up to date on its vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative and have been spayed or neutered.

Good Luck.
